Hello everyone,

You'll be pleased to hear that the woods will be available again for shooting from 07:00 tomorrow morning. Before you go, please read the attached rules document which details what is required of you should you wish to visit the woods, and make sure you adhere to everything contained within.

Adhering to government guidelines, there is a maximum of two people per group (unless everyone in the group is from the same household). Please maintain social distancing and do not congregate. I hope it goes without saying, but you should not share a car with anyone not from your household whilst going to the woods.

For any of you that are at risk, or are living with someone at risk, I strongly suggest you avoid coming to the woods as you will be increasing your risk of infection.

Note that as per the NFAS, the toilets, hut, and communal seating areas are closed.

Please note that you need to have renewed your membership to be in the woods, and no guests are currently allowed. You also need to take your own hand gel to the woods. Tesco currently have lots of stock of large £1 bottles of anti-bacterial gel, so please make sure you pick some up. When at the woods please remember to display your parking permit and take any rubbish home with you.

All four courses are open. Bluebell has been completely re-laid and has a new set of North American wildlife prints for you to shoot. Christmas Tree and Creek are full 3D courses, and Savannah is set up with photo prints. The courses have been cleared in preparation for re-opening, but be aware that at this time of year the ferns and other undergrowth tend to spring back pretty quickly.

We have a new platform shot on target 1 of Creek - please take care to avoid touching the handrails unless absolutely necessary. Use the hand-gel at the foot of the stairs to clean your hands if you do have to touch anything. Note that there is an alternative peg on the ground for those of you who do not wish to climb the stairs.

Please use common sense and behave responsibly whilst in the woods. Being able to get outdoors and shoot again is fantastic, but the situation in the country is still serious.

Stay safe. Shoot straight.

Enjoy yourselves!
